Dr. Sacar insisted that before he was to see me I had to make an up front payment of 300.00. When I asked to be taken off the meds (due to the side effects from wihich could possibly end with me in a wheelchair for the rest of my life) he became very angry stating the side effects l was experiencing would mostly likely not happen again. Duh! Because I had to insist on not taking them anymore. No offer to find replacement meds more suited for me was suggested by him. When I asked for a return of the portion of the upfront pay... read more

Between my daughter and I we have seen Dr. Sarcar since 2017. We have now left him and should have a long time ago. He was amazing we thought. Down to earth really understood and cared. He don’t. I have many reasons and ask u to beware. He always has an excuse why he don’t call u back even if u were in the ER due to ur meds he prescribed. He then berates you for being upset with him. When he does finally see you does he take into account what you have been through? No instead doesn’t even listen to everything and then sends ... read more

Dr. Sarcar has helped me tremendously. He is very professional, and nonjudgmental. There is basically nothing you can say that will suprise him. He makes you feel unashamed regardless of the situation. This makes receiving treatment easier, as you are more likely to show up to your appointments, and be honest while you are there.

Initially seemed like a good fit. He ended up refusing to write any more prescriptions or wean me off of the medication due to a unplanned pregnancy. I had been on the medication for years and without being weaned off I could have miscarried. It is very irresponsible on his end as a doctor. Expect being charged ridiculous fees without warning or invoice. $30 to call in prescriptions. 10 minute visit for 125, 125 charged if rescheduled. Dr refuses to call patients back. DON'T GO!

I found Dr Sarcar extremely condescending and arrogant. He spoke over me and made quick assumptions about my personality and lifestyle that were unfair and hurtful. He pressed me on very sensitive questions when I clearly stated I wasn't comfortable. I left my appointment in tears. He also requires a $375 deposit in order to continue care. Even if I could afford it, I'll never go back.

I have been through multiple pdocs and none were a good fit. However, Dr S is different. He allows me to make some of my own decisions regarding my treatment but also makes sure I understand things from a professionals stand point. I'm sure he isn't the doctor for everyone since he is incredibally laid back but that's what makes me like him. He is just a regular person who happens to understand and know how to treat bipolar. He has made my quality of life better.

This doctor did help somewhat at one point, and is good at what he does. But also does not seem as open minded as a doctor should be. In my opinion seems like he may struggle with being stuck in the "Im a doctor, and Im right" mentality, even at the cost of a patients personal health. Made me feel like every other patient, that he didn't have time for. Would not recommend to anyone with legitimate mental health concerns.
