For over 25 years, I have seen many GI doctors with no permanent changes or fixes to my GI problems. Therefore, I was hesitant to believe that Dr. Mangione would fix the issues since none of my past doctors could. I consider Dr. Mangione to be one of the best doctors I've ever known. He immediately diagnosed a problem that I had seen multiple doctors for over a period of 16 years. Great Doc. Dr. Mangione was recommended to me by a doctor in Los Angeles. He has been helping me for about a decade now with issues from a J Pouch done years ago. I had read that if you were looking for a doctor to tell you jokes and make you laugh, Dr Mangione wasn't your guy, but if you wanted a true professional and is great at his job, then he was the Doctor for you. Two operations. I spent a day waiting in pain for emergency surgery expected at 7 AM and didn't happen until late afternoon. He did the first operation which did not go well. He likes to yell at the hospital nurses. Maybe just a bad day. It was for me for sure.
The best Doctor ever. He is the best surgeon also. Helped me prolong my life and I am very grateful. He should have all 5's.
Facing a condition generating significant pain, Dr Mangione was able to squeeze me in the same day. I was expecting a hurried and impersonal consultation, but instead found a doctor who communicated tremendous experience and confidence with humility and empathy. Surprisingly, he was able resolve my problems on-site, during the same visit. His staff was also very friendly and professional. What an amazing healer!
