I was very displeased with his care and bedside manner. He seemed to think he is better than everyone else.
I wouldn't send or recommend any idividual see this man.
I was treated by Dr. Dayton for crippling abdominal pain. He was rude and wouldn't allow me to have my wife(who was worried sick) on the phone. She couldn't be with me. He ruled out appendicitis, but did nothing more than give me a pain killer that wore off in 30 minutes. I asked about an IV anti-inflammatory for relief, but was told to take one myself if I wanted. I left with the same pain I arrived with and couldn't even use my seatbelt. I took Ibuprofen afterwards and soon felt better.
Caring and involved
ER visit with lower right rib cage pain. I provided some details on activities and possible related symptoms including minor cough and stiffness from a bike ride, though I had no idea if they were related. Dr. did almost no diagnostics and I left with a Lortab prescription and cough medicine. Turns out I had pluerisy, lung infarct and pulmonary embolisms. Over $1200 for MD and ER and just ended up with my own doctor diagnosing and a visit to a different hospital.
Dr. John R. Dayton, MD has a 2.8 star rating with 13 reviews.
