I have been in pain for the past three years now. I had a couple abdomanal hernias repaired with a full mesh. A few months after the surgeries I had a large bubble, in which I thought a hernia came back. The thing feels like its gonna burst after eating or do any kind of actuvity. And now just laying in bed it puts a strain on the large "bubble." I had a catscan recenty and the Doc was thrilled it wasn't a reoccuring hernia. Which didnt make my life any easier! I agree with another rater who says Dr. Fessenden makes inappropriate and out-of-line comments to patients. My experience with him suggests that his attitude toward a patient depends on whether he personally likes or dislikes the person immediately after meeting him/her -- very unprofessional. After waiting close to an hour, I spent perhaps 15 minutes with him, and he was extremely rude throughout the visit. Terrible experience. Very unprofessional and seems as if he does not care about my care. I would not suggest this surgeon to anyone.

highly unprofessional and perhaps incompetent, doctor was unwilling to assist in finding source of pain after pain level increased during the months following a double hernia operation; doctor made unprofessional and out-of-line personal comments about patient; doctor's competence and comments should be investigated and he should be reprimanded
