He was great! Very professional. Took the time to answer all my questions. My child’s eyes were beginning to cross and he explained clearly what he was going to do to fix it. Highly recommend him
Dr. Devaro is my daughter’s Opthalmologist. He had given us a great advice and treatment to delayed the progression of her Myopia. He is an intelligent , compassionate and dedicated physician, who will make sure his patients will get the best care possible. We are so grateful and fell Blessed to have him in Savannah!
The staff is unprofessional and don’t keep up with information then blame you for not showing up when it’s in fact their fault. Then send you on the run around and threaten to discharge you for their own mistakes.
Dr Devaro saw us for a same-day urgent appointment. His staff was exceptionally friendly and patient with my daughter, and he was able to avoid an operation by his patience and excellent procedural skills. Highly, highly recommend.
Brought my daughter in on pediatrician's referral for slight condition. Within 4 weeks, the condition had deteriorated to the point of her eyes no longer staying aligned at all. Called to have her re-evaluated, but even as an existing patient with an emergent situation, they wouldn't get her in the schedule for 2 months. Within that wait time, I was able to get her seen by another pediatric ophthalmologist AND have the surgery required to correct the condition. Would not recommend.
I love Dr. Devaro! He's used to dealing w/ children, so he speaks to his adult patients, like me, in language they can understand. Great bedside manner. He and his staff are terrific, and I can't say enough good things about them.
Savannah is lucky to have Dr John Devaro in our midst. He is perfect with children, responding to each child appropriately. My children are calm by nature, so no need for Donald Duck impersonations, but he has a great one for children that need it! He is always busy, but he fits in urgent appointments without any hesitation. My oldest had a bad eye injury, and Dr Devaro took care of it, seeing us four days in a row. Dr John Devaro is the best.
This is by far the most amazing Dr. for little one shot and all of their eye needs. The office staff is an absolute joy and delight. Dr. Devaro put me at instant ease with my daughters eye condition. I went in fearing the abolute worst and within one visit we were on track. Today was our third visit and I am every bit as impressed and grateful as I was on our first. They have even accommodated moms schedule mix up when they didn't have to. Thanks Dr Devaro and staff!!
I am in the Savanna area on a bicycle trip. I got something in my eyes and they were extremely sore, teary, and very sensitive to light! A person at the hotel where I was staying, Fairfield Inn, recommended Dr Devaro. I called the office with almost no hope that they would be able to give me an appointment in the limited time I had. The office staff could not possibly be nicer. They were sympathetic, kind, and very caring. The Dr is a First Rate Professional. Highest Possible rating!!!
