My doctor referred me to Dr. Fjerestad's office for treatment of what he thought might be a neuroma. After an exam and X-rays, this turned out not to be the case. The condition was explained as an inflamed tendon connecting the main bone in my foot to the toe, and not nerve damage. The resulting tightening of the tendon was creating a hammertoe.
