Dr F & his staff once saved my vacation to London & Paris. I woke up the morning of my trip to a totally swollen & inflamed knee. I called their office. They got me right in, assessed the situation, came up with a treatment plan and got 2 scripts phoned in quickly and between the in office treatments and the scripts, I was able to go on vacation and enjoyed the trip. Without them my trip would have been ruined. Sorry to read the negative reviews. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Dr F & the staff.

I have wanted to travel to go see Mr. Finkenstadt, meaning, paying a flight ticket, a taxi, then stay over at a friend's. I called multiple times urging his secretary to ask him to phone me so he could have an idea on whether it would be worth form me to go see him, by hearing few details from me about my back condition. He finally calls, he said who he was, then I said:" Good afternoon sir, how are you?" He answers straight up:" I have reviewed your files, you have to come see me for a consultation, then another day for a t... read more

The whole office including the doctor is very rude. He had a full out temper tantrum because I told him that I've decided to go elsewhere. I used to dread calling the office for any reason because the secretary was always so rude.

I would think that he and his office staff are what's taught in medical school not to be. If this is the best I can do for pain, I would rather suffer, and I am. He and his staff could teach a course in arrogance, rudeness, non-empathy. His staff was unprofessional and upon meeting the doctor I was unimpressed with his bedside manor, as he didn't have one. I would not recommend this doctor or his office for treatment of pain.

I am a physician myself but I have severe knee problems and have needed to look into alternative ways to treat my issue. Dr. Finkenstadt and his staff have been amazing! He is open and honest about what he thinks he can do to help me or not. He takes time out of his schedule to call me or fit me in to be seen if needed. Dr. Finkenstadt and his staff go above and beyond what they have to do to take great care of their patients. I will continue to recommend him to my family, friends and patients!

Rude and arrogant. I try to explain I have multiple health issues and he tells you not to talk so much. After treating my neck w/prolotherapy, he walked over to me & yanked so hard on my arm- raising it above my head without warning- he injured my shoulder. I told him at this visit, I just had hand surgery on my L hand 2 months ago and now he yanked so hard on my "good" arm, I can barely raise it up. I told him twice before do not yank suddenly on me and yet he did it again. My last visit.

I suffer from a rare joint disease called Pigmented Villonodular Synovitis (PVNS) in the hip. When having terrible pain after my first hip replacement, Dr. Finkenstadt was the only Doctor who believed in me and didn't think I was making up the pain as my specialty orthopedic did. When Dr. Finkenstadt couldn't help me get rid of the pain, he sent me to Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC, where advanced imaging did indeed show recurring pvns. He has a x Ellen's bedside manners as well!
