Dr. Townsend is the best neurologist. He's very attentive, and gives a thorough exam. I give him and his staff a 10 star. I'm 77 years old and worked in the medical field for 30 years so I know a good doctor when I see one. Don't belive the negative reviews.
Dr Townsend is amazing and knowledgeable but his front desk staff is possibly the worst. I repeat WORST front desk staff I have EVER encountered. I’m not sure how many work up front but I know I always deal with this one woman. She is quite possibly the most belittling, rude, sassy, and inconsiderate people I have met. I am 22 years old and have had my fair share and range of doctors visits. I have narcolepsy with cataplexy which causes me to get into car accidents. Office staff is terrible. I called the office about 2 weeks ago I was told to get a referral. I got my referral and tried to fax over and the fax wasn't going through. I called and spoke with the nurse/receptionist and she says oh just keep trying and then she tells me I need records sent over. I explained she never told me that when I spoke with her before. She states she did and keeps repeating that she did. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
