He is a very caring and intuitive doctor. He is able to read between the words of his patients to understand their problems when we don't or can't express them well. I cannot thank him enough for the care he provided to both myself and my husband while we were in Utah. He is everything you could desire in a PCP.

Saw him for the first today. He was not friendly, was poor at answering my questions/communication, and didn't know the answer to the diabetes (my main diagnosis) questions I had. The nurse or med asst, Shelby, I saw before him was good. But, i will be looking for another doctor in the group. Utah is just not known for nice people nor good doctors. It's very difficult here after 20 years to find a decent doctor. I was an OR Tech in my 20's in another state, working with great doctors. Alas.
With Dr John Doane really takes the time listen to what his patients has to say when comes whatever is wrong with them. What might be wrong health was & I would recommend him to anyone that has anything medical was on there health. He is one the best Dr's there at U of U health clinics.
