My legs went paralyzed one day for a few minutes. My primary sent me here. They mocked me and dismissed me. When I asked to see another Doctor for a second opinion they refused and used the bogus continuum of care excuse. How is one appointment a continuum of care? Stay away, in my opinion the doctor I saw was a quack. The doctor missed hyperreflexia and several radiculopathies found by another Orthopedic Specialist in SW Florida.
Overcharged for an X-ray. Be advised this facility has not a hospital, however patients are billed for hospital charges.
Extremely judgmental, unknown of any of our conditions, or maybe let's say truth! You know who you guys are. We had our baby 2 months premature and lived at Golisano NICU for over a year with no problems and made long term friends with veteran nurses of the facility. Since leaving the NICU and having to return to the 6TH FLOOR PEDIATRIC NICU. OMG STEER CLEAR OF THAT FLOOR!!!!!!!! WE HAVE PRIVATE NURSES FOR OUR CHILD 24/7, our own house, emasculate everything a whole warehouse dedicated to my child toys and disability necessities lol and you call DCFS on my family and we work from home. One of the worst doctor visits I have ever experienced. 9:30 appointment. Arrived early and was taken to a room. The doctor did not come in until 10:30. No explanation. No apology for being late. He had very obviously not looked at the MRI results. He asked why I was there and then asked questions that had nothing to do with the issue or the reason I was there. I was bullied by the provider. She was literally mocking and laughing at me. I asked if I could be cared for by another doctor, they refused and said I can go somewhere else. Not a problem I went somewhere else. I saw the doctor once. She refused to allow me another doctor under the guise of a continuum of care and said if I didn't like it to go somewhere else. Healthpark Medical Center illegally released, without signed authorization or Warrant, my Protected Medical Records to the Lee County Sheriffs Department. The Florida Department of Health has turned Rn. Rene Rodriguez over to law enforcement for possible criminal prosecution due to his actions, involvement. Rn. Dr Lake is a great cardiologist and totally patient interested. The whole time I was in the hospital she or her staff visited me every day at Holy Cross. Dr Lake is so caring and intuitive found my problem immediately. I miss her so much. Bless you and all the best to you in your new career and all good for you and your family.
