I was a college athlete here at Bakersfield college, I was referred to Dr. Buxton when I had noticed there was a large lump in my abdominal, it happened to be a very large hernia, after my first visit with him he was able to schedule the surgery within the a week, he told me he was going to do everything that he could so that i could continue my college football career, the surgery was a success, i had a 8 month full recovery and was able to finish on at Bakersfield college, dr. buxton is a great general surgeon and really c... read more
STAY AWAY!! this guy is arrogant and unprofessional. makes people feel uncomfortable. brings interns{who you can tell know nothing, but are white, blonde and have a pretty face} into the room during EXAMINATION AND diagnosis without asking your permission. I left the office with no help or medication- was talked down to-yet was charged full price for my visit--- hopefully you never get referred to this doctor.
