Dr. Joel Thompson has taken care of me since I injured my left shoulder and preformed a reverse shoulder replacement surgery in May 2021 and is now helping me with my right shoulder preparation for the same type surgery on my right shoulder. I trust his judgment in my care and his professionalism to get the job done correctly the first time. I highly recommend Dr. Thompson to anyone who has upper extremity issues requiring treatment.
I was very impressed with all aspects of my appointment with Dr. Thompson. His demeanor is calm, his knowledge is outstanding and his examination was thorough. He explained my treatment options and I appreciated that he valued my input. The decision as to how I would proceed was one that was mutually agreed upon by Dr. Thompson and me -- a conservative approach with an appropriate follow-up interval for re-assessment.
