She won’t look you in your face just look at her laptop. I have so many problems I want to bring up that I believe is related to my thyroid and it’s dismissed.
I want to start out by saying that Dr. Myers is very knowledgeable of her specialty. But her respecting her patients has a lot to be desired. First point I schedule my appointments to be the first one of the day so I am able to go to work without having to have a scheduled day off but when I have been waiting for my appointment and see her arriving a hour later than my appointment time, and this is every time I have scheduled appointments. I have been a patient of Dr. Meyers for almost three years, and she has consistently been courteous, attentive, and responsive to my medical needs. At one point, I sought outside treatment for my thyroid when she did not feel medication was necessary based on my lab results. Unfortunately, I had a very negative reaction to the medication I was given elsewhere. She began my appointment by looking at me and saying "I'm not really sure why you're here", so I knew immediately how this was going to go. She said my thyroid lab looked normal and was not "low enough", even though my PCP said it was low and referred me. She spends her time googling medications and stares at her laptop screen and is very unhelpful.
