Dr. Aristimuno is a true practitioner of the Art of Medicine. He listens, spends time, and answers all questions very well.
I dont think he knows what he is doing. Most of the comment i read below he is rude and disrespectful i dont need to be in detail here. Reviews will tell you all.
I could not get on the portal to make an appointment, so I tried as a walk-in. It was in the afternoon so the wait was a bit long. I was able to been seen by Dr. Aristimuno. He seemed to be able to know I needed blood work quickly as it was getting later in the afternoon. His thought I may be anemic. He took time to explain why and what was going on. Answered all of my questions. He phoned me the next morning with the results of the blood work and told me I should go to the emergency room and have a blood transfer. I went as... read more
He was very disrespectful to my spouse by raising his voice in a very demeaning manner. Unbelievable that Sarasota Medical Hospital employe’s a doctor that is so rude and insulting. You can see by the reviews that he has 5 stars or 1. I’m sure his family and friends (or himself) didn’t give him a 1 star. I really don’t think he made the correct job choice in his life. Maybe a police officer would be more in tune to his caliber of a profession.
2nd visit with Dr A. , follow up after 16 days in hospital with severe Covid-19. Dr spent a lot of time with me and was genuinely concerned. Whole staff was great.
Self-verified patient of Dr. Joaquin J Aristimuno - Posted on November 27th, 2020 The worst physician I ever encountered in my life! The first time I saw him was s/p severe MVA and I had herniated almost every disc in my spine. I was crying in pain and when he entered the room he asked me if I was faking it! The second time I saw him, I had had ascites, which is an accumulation of fluid in your peritoneal space maybe due to cancer. He started yelling at me, "you have a fat stomach, a chunky fat stomach," and repeated it over... read more
He takes the time to get to know you as a patient, evaluates & researches, if needed, your medical conditions. He really listens & is an awesome doctor.
Staff are rude, uneducated and unprofessional. Chose this Group as they do walk-ins and open on Saturday morning. After most recent experience, my family and I will be finding a new Doctor!
First people in the office and waited 45 min to get in a room and the 15 more minutes for Dr. Dr’s only concern was having me sign butt covering document so that he would prescribe a sedative that I’ve been taking for many years for sleep/anxiety . Never asked about my depression which I checked off on questionnaire. My husband has a blood disorder that requires regular hematology appts. Dr did not provide a referral. Receptionist handed my husband another Pt’s paper work. New to area. Poor :(
