regular checkups, tooth chip repair, cleanings. Very friendly and knowledgeable, always look forward to going for a visit!
I would highly recommend Dr. Jakubas. I had a bad experience with a dentist in Europe that left me fearful of dental appts. She was extremely gentle, kind and calming.
I hadn't been to the dentist for a few years. Dr. Jakubas and her staff were understanding of that. After the evaluation, I was able to get an appointment for a cleaning the following week. The cost and treatment plan were explained thoroughly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Jakubas.
I'm so happy that I found Dr. Jakubus's practice. I found her whole team very professional, caring and resourceful. The woman at the front desk (can't remember her name, dammit) knew my insurance plan inside and out....she was even more aware than the human resource department at my job! Go to this dental practice---you won't regret it!

I've been going to Joan for about 20 years (since she was on 38th St and 42nd Ave) and she has the best hand of any dentist I've ever been to. I highly recommend her, she's very skilled and an all-around nice person.
I came to Dr. Jakubas having had persistent problems my previous dentist (who had the latest equipment, etc., and a good reputation) did not handle well. Dr. Jakubas is highly skilled, excellent at communicating, and all of her staff are VERY knowledgeable and professional (and friendly and fun). A very efficient, friendly and cost effective practice. The Dr. deals with a wide range of dental treatments from endodontics to crown and bridge work. The practice is patient friendly. It offers good value and processes a wide range of Insurance claims. Work is fast an concerned with reducing pain.
