Dr. Chow is a fabulous surgeon. I have 2 hips done with his SuperPATH surgery. In & out of hospital in less than 24 hrs. They were great - until I found I had blood poisoning from metal parts in Wright Medical's hip replacements. I was very ill. It came suddenly with no warning. I was not aware there was cobalt in any part of my hips. My cobalt levels were off the charts. As was chromium. No linger in AZ I sought meducal care at Univ. of Penn Hospital Orthopedics. Today I am 6 mo post op for hip replacement. First I’d like to say Dr Chow and all his staff are wonderful caring people who are truly invested in their patient’s positive outcome. My surgery was at Abrazo and there again, everyone was great. I am still struggling with limited range of motion and balance. I am 5’3” and 125lb and worked very hard pre-op getting in great shape, personal trainer, and daily gym, etc. I thought I would ace the surgery and have a fast recovery.
