I was referred to Dr. Blanco by Dignity Health when my longtime Dignity Health doctor retired. When I was was transferred to her office to make an appointment, there were openings for new patients, but when Jessica, the appt. scheduler found out that my insurance is Medicare and a very good supplemental insurance program, she refused to schedule an appointment. She said, "Dr. Blanco is not accepting any new Medicare patients right now" and refused to elaborate. Dignity Health should known that.
I'm embarrassed that it has taken me so long to leave a comment about my favorite Doctor! I have been a patient of Dr. Blanco for about 10 years, and I have never had a doctor who truly listens to my reasons for being see. She has an amazing ability to connect with her patients, explain the situation and discuss the treatment. I feel like I am catching up with an old friend, rather than seeing my doctor when I make an appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Jessica Blanco, she is fantastic!
I have been seeing Dr. Blanco for about 8-9 years. Now my husband goes to her and so does my mom. She is empathetic and straight to the point when it comes to diagnosis and treatment. She makes us feel very comfortable to discuss any issue and even though we moved 25 miles away from her office, we STILL make the drive to see her! Professional yet very personal, as fits our style. The staff is very friendly and accommodating with great follow through.
Very polite listen and we discuss what it could be and the treatment that she was going to use. It was explained in laymen terms. Thank you doc for caring!
