I had been seeing Dr. Gray for a couple of years. Each time I went, I had a strange feeling that the way she practiced was all about making you come back for additional appointments, instead of treating you completely when you were there. Each return visit represented another copay from my insurance company. She also requires a mask, which is a good idea, but if you forget your mask they will make you come back and bill you for the appointment anyway. A box of masks is an inexpensive item. She would rather bill you and make ... read more

It appears that Dr. Grey is more concerned about creating multiple billable visits, than actual concern for the health of her patients. While her office scheduled my appointments, twice in a row upon arrival I was told she could not also provide the full body check that day which I had scheduled. I would need to come back- and wait approximately two plus months for another appointment. Twice this happened! A complete disconnect between the staff. Very disappointing.

This was my dermatology office. The other day I called for an appointment re a growth that looked strange and hadn’t gone away. I explained that I had a history of basal cell cancer. They only offered me an appointment two months out. I insisted that it could be serious, they didn’t care. Never going back, bad medical practice.

Dr. Gray is highly professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to speak with. She takes time to discuss health issues and answer questions. The only disappointing feature of Saybrook Dermatology is their website, which does not do justice to the practice at all.

Dr. Gray is a kind, thoughtful professional. She is especially comforting to people suffering from skin cancer. Since a skilled dermatologist is the first line of defense, Dr. Gray offers a very patient centric approach to the process of detection and treatment. She is thorough, spending as much time as needed to answer questions and explain findings. Her staff is equally conscientious.
