I saw her in the summer of 2019 for a skin condition, referred by my family Doctor. They did blood work. Got a call from someone in her office stating they would NOT give me the original prescription prescribed by Jennifer Ridge. I was told my condition was caused by anemia and advised me that I had to have a blood transfusion. I didn't. I've been anemic off and on my entire life and never had this issue with my skin. She said I had prurigo nodularis. Never went back to her and never will. Stay clear of this woman who calls ... read more

To continue, Dr. Gewirtzman found two cancers, One in the right ear and one in the left ear. I just had the surgery in both today. The one in the left was quite deep and involved removal of cartilage. This happened a couple years ago too, and I think it was the same assistant. When I come back in the spring, I will wait for an appt, with you rather than take another risk. Robert Hicks

Disclaimer, I saw the nurse practitioner and NOT Dr. Ridge. The front office staff was helpful and friendly. I waited in the waiting room for over an hour. When the nurse took me to the room she was efficient but unfriendly. I waited another 30+ minutes for the "dr". When she came in, I felt unheard and more of a burden! She never explained my concerns (mole turning colors). I did end up having 2 moles shaved off, & no issues there, but I won't be a returning patient!

I've seen Dr. Ridge at least twice per year for over 25 years. She's performed many skin cancer surgeries (mostly MOHS) for me, including a melanoma. I've always been treated with courtesy by everyone from the desk staff, nurses, as well as Dr. Ridge, herself nor have I witnessed others being dealt with any differently. Much of my treatment has been pro-active in nature (removal of pre-cancerous lesions, etc.) which has no doubt prevented more serious conditions from developing.

I never had the opportunity to make an appointment. Was on hold for 15 minutes, waiting to schedule an appointment for my son. I heard a click, some voices then the line went dead. When I called back, right away, the message said their offices were closed. Seemed more interested in leaving, at NOON, than earning our business. If this was any sign of potential care, I guess my son is better for it.

I showed up on time for my appointment but had to wait an hour for her to see me. She didn't take much time examining me and then wanted me to go on a medication known which could have serious side effects. After showing my concerns I was prescribed a cream, only to find out the pharmacy can't fill it (apparently it's not intended for anyone over the age of 26). I called the doctor's office and got a voice mail. I wish she would have explained things better, I left very confused.

This is a case of the office staff ruining it for the doctor- the unfriendliness of the office staff is ridiculous. I could barely get a sentence out of my mouth without being cut off-I work with people everyday in a professional setting. I cant believe that the woman who answered my call today is still employed (6/24/16). You are there to provide a service. Unfortunately, this person acted like it was an annoyance. We are your paycheck. The patients! Filing might suit this lady better. So Sad.
