Dr. Gurske-Deperio was the 4th doctor I had seen in 4 years of being misdiagnosed. She immediately sounded more intelligent than the other doctors I had seen for this problem. The x-ray showed multiple bone fragments, that which the other doctors said was a single bone spur. She ordered necessary imaging to see what was going on inside my foot/ankle and sure enough a plethora of problems were revealed. Dr. Gurske is amazing!! After continuing to suffer from ankle pain even after a prior surgery (different surgeon), Dr. Gurske gave me hope again. She was willing to do surgery, and discovered the root of my problem. She fixed up my ankle and for those of you who like OR pictures, she takes them and will send them to you! Mircle Worker. After years of having ankle problems and a condescending Doctor told me there was nothing wrong with me. I had a fatty deposit by my ankle. I got to the point that I could barely walk on that foot anymore. I went to Dr Guske-Deperio she explained everything to me and gave me the option to have surgery. I always show-up 15 min Early, Because I know I need X-rays, the back to the waiting area for a few Minuets and then I get Roomed and then the Dr comes in! I think her experience as a "Physical Therapist" make her just that must stronger!
