Push for all vaccinations and if you question anything you are ignored and turned away. Asked for a blood test for my kindergartener to see if there were anti bodies to fulfill one of the vax requirements for NYS schools and she declined to write a referal. If you have any hesitations to child vaccines or questioned you are shunned or they push fear on you if you don’t get it for your child. All for the vaccinations and the money from the pharmaceuticals and not for the children or parents. Stay away
Today I saw Dr. Kalansky for most likely the last time. You see she’s been my son’s pediatrician since the age of 2. He’s now 18 and will be going off to college next week. She has been that calm and steady voice at the other end of the phone during those really scary, sick times. I wanted a DO pediatrician for my children, but this office acts like a typical doctor and jumps right to medication over treating the individual. When I was nursing they tried to have me unnecessarily supplement with formula even though my children were growing just fine and perfectly healthy. You're not invited to ask questions about treatments to better understand side effects etc. They even tried to force a medication on my son that we are allergic to! Not happy at all with this practice.

This is not the review of a one time, phone-in experience. Dr. Kalansky has been our family pediatrician for 12 years. She is an excellent pediatrician. As any mother would, I worried when my children got ill, especially when they were much smaller.
