Office and staff are great. What is not great is the fact that they have personal conversations while working in your mouth. We don't need to hear it and would prefer full concentration on what you are doing. It's very annoying.
It was my first visit. I thought I got scheduled to see Dr. Jen Wachs, but I ended up being seen by someone who is not on the website of Family Dentistry of Yorktown. She said she had been with this practice as a dentist for over three years, but the website had not been updated. She was very nice trying to ease some of my concerns and did a good job explaining things to me as a new patient. During the covid 19 pandemic my husband developed a gum issue, did some home remedy to subside pain, but needed to be seen by a dentist. Last week they started to see patients who required emergency treatment. And, we are so happy that they were able to see him, and treated him. Dr Wachs office staff very efficient, friendly, and helpful. Hygienist do a great job with cleaning teeth.
I brought my daughter in for a check up and found out she had a small cavity. Jen and the staff did an amazing job calming my 4 year old daughter and quickly fixed her tooth. I was very nervous about how my daughter would do, but due to the supportive staff she complained less than I would!
