I have had lower back pain most of my adult life and finally decided on surgery. Dr. Henn suggested physical therapy at first but I was ready for surgery so in Oct of last year he performed the operation. I felt free of pain almost immediately. I was not able to play golf prior to the surgery but for the first time in years was able to play without pain. He has a great bedside manner as well as being an excellent surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone in need of back surgery.
The experience throughout the process from the first office visit appointment to surgery was timely and efficient. Dr. Henn was wonderful, detail oriented and I admire his professional experience. I highly recommend him to anyone who would need his care. Thank you Dr, Henn I could walk again with no pain!
Dr. Henn is an amazing brilliant surgeon. I had been in pain for over a year. As soon as he walked in to his room, I just knew I was in good hands. I needed a little tricky back surgery that he thought would greatly improve my situation but still might leave me with a little pain. From the moment I woke up (10 weeks ago!) thru today, I am completely pain free! I am back to working out 5 days/week and sometimes I don't even remember that I had an issue. I feel blessed to have found Dr. Henn!
After years of discomfort and many months of worsening pain due to compression of nerves from spinal stenosis I was very discouraged. I had shooting pains down both legs and in my hip area and couldn’t even lie flat in my bed for a solid nights sleep. When I began to experience numbness and pins and needles plus worsening pain, I began to worry about permanent damage. Only four weeks out from surgery and I am virtually pain free! I Would recommend Dr Henn without reservation!
Dr. Henn performed a major spinal fusion on my back in late August 2016 and it was 100% successful. He stated that my case was one of the most challenging he had done. Though this procedure is slow in rehabilitation, with following the exact physical therapy to the letter, I was back to my old self and no longer in any pain. Thank you, Dr. Henn, you rock! :)
Dr. Henn operated on me at Lee Memorial Hospital on March 14, 2018. I checked into the hospital on the 14th of March and I was released the next day at noon with very little discomfort. The procedure Dr. Henn performed was called "L2-L3 extreme lateral interbody fusion" and the results achieved were excellent. I had 3 previous back surgeries and without any doubt this was the best experience I had and I would highly recommend Dr. Henn to anybody with back problems. Robert R.
Dr. Henn is terrific. He took great care to thoroughly explain what the MRI showed and what my options were. In addition he did a careful exam and made sure that what we saw on the imaging matched my symptoms. I opted for surgery, and I am very happy with the results. My recovery was quick and my underlying pain was immediately relieved. Even the pain from the surgical site was slight and resolved quickly. I have already recommended Dr. Henn to several people and will continue to do so.
Had an MRI but he wouldn’t see me for a follow-up or so said the lady who called. Mightily disappointed.

I am sorry if we made you feel this way. Sometimes if we review an MRI and there is no need for surgery, we will call and try to save the patient time and money so they don't have to come back in for an appointment. It sounds like my assistant told you that there were no surgical issues and, since I am a surgeon, that you did not have to come back in to see me. We could have handled this better and I am sorry. Dr. Jeffrey Henn will forever be in my heart. My mother was ready to give up on this life until he took on the huge challenge of operating on her back. She indeed was a difficult “mountain to climb”....he is an amazing surgeon and his peers will say “he can do the job when nobody else can”. We love you Dr. Henn and are forever grateful for you!
