He was very nice guy and his energy was very welcoming he did surgery on my ankle from a skateboarding injury got a plate and 7 screws and not even two weeks after surgery did I start feeling better with the help of drugs but after 7 days i was off of them now its just time to heal up fully
6 years ago I fell down on the cement! The repercussions of that were that I had 2 torn meniscus and a tear of my ligaments which was very painful I had a frustrating challenge finding anyone that could help me deal with this problem! I went to see numerous Doctors all over the Portland Oregon metro area, Oregon City, I even went to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix Arizona for 4 days and over to Odessa and Kyiv Ukraine before the war of course! Dr Mercer is knowledgeable, skilled, and such a nice doctor! Takes the time to talk and explain things in common language everyone can understand. Really is a very good teacher of how he's going to fix you, etc. He very nicely fixed my mess of an ankle and greatly reduced my pain. Every doctor should strive to be at Dr Mercer's level of care. There are not enough stars for him!
Mercer seems like a nice guy. And he is, until he makes a mistake. He gave me nerve damage during my first ankle reconstruction surgery. He insisted he could fix the nerve pain, did another surgery on me, and the pain was worse. Rather than take responsibility for his actions and try a new approach, he accused me of being a liar/drug seeker. He had his nurse call me to tell me they wouldn't do surgery on a liar, and they won't help fix the nerve they destroyed. I'm left injured at his hand.
Five stars isn't enough to explain my experience with Dr Mercer. I had a hip replacement done with no post surgical pain in the year since my surgery. He is so nice to talk to, it was like an old friend. I call him The magician for obvious reasons.
