Very good doctor - but when you have been a patient for a long time it's hard to get appt. I had severe knee pain recently and was assured by his office lady it would be 13 days before I could see him. That was the 2nd time I had this problem so reluctantly changed doctors! Good luck if you are in severe pain.

Can't recommend Dr. Calava enough. The only reason I stopped going was because I started hospice and am moving out of state. He takes time, tries different treatments instead of a cookie cutter approach for all patients. I honestly don't have one thing bad to say about him. His staff as well. All very kind, compassionate and genuinely want to help.
I have been seeing Dr Calava since 2004. I was referred by my surgeon and was so glad he put me in touch with Dr Calava. I have always been treated with the doctors full attention on me and my issues. Not every dr has a good side bed manner. Not every doctor talks to you in language you can understand.
