I've been seeing Dr. Oberman for many years. He is competent, extremely thorough, and caring. I have a complex medical history, and he has always been on top of things when performing my eye-health exams. Over the years he has identified and followed up on suspicious symptoms, thereby playing a key role in my overall wellness care. I trust him. His staff are caring and thorough as well, and some of them have been with him for many years.
I have a very high level of confidence in Dr. Oberman and would recommend him to any patient that had an immediate or future need for cataract surgery.
Patient for 10 years and a fine doctor... Books for annual checkup months in advance which I prepare for and accept as the norm. Staff called the day of my appointment and say he has to cancel. Fine, lets set up for another time next week. I'm told nothing available until the end of January 2018 a 2-3 month wait.That is not OK-- am out of contacts. I ask if there is a cancellation if they can call me.. No they say. Zero interest in keeping me as a patient. Going elsewhere.
I recently had cataract surgery in both of my eyes, From the first visit to Dr. Oberman, to my post-op visit he and his staff have been nothing but professional, kind, and incredibly efficient. I am a local merchant in Westport and I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Oberman to all my clients, friends and family. Its been a crystal clear experience.
Dr. Oberman was able to take me as an emergency patient. His medical expertise was outstanding. Very easy to communicate with, made me feel very comfortable.
I feel that I am fortunate to have Dr. Jeffrey Oberman as my physician. I have known him since the 1970's as his patient. I have never EVER felt rushed, felt as one of many patients who was ushered QUICKLY thought the office. My appointments were considerate of my worries and my questions. Because I am a retired dialysis nurse I know that doctors and their staffs have many patients to see but, in Dr. Oberman's case (and that of his staff) I was treated as an individual not a syptomatic patient.

Dr. Oberman saved my eye-sight. I had cataracts in both eyes. My left eye was very difficult to see out of. With cataract surgery I am able to see without glasses to drive which I haven't been able to do for over 30 years! The surgery was painless and short with very little recovery. I would recommend seeing Dr. Oberman for any eye care needs.
I recently had cataract surgery. Dr. Oberman made it very easy. His explanations gave me a guide as to what to expect. I also have dry eyes. I appreciate that Dr. Oberman tried otc drops first before prescribing the expensive rx. My eyes are like new as a result of the surgery and the rx. I recommend Dr.Oberman highly.
