My frail elderly father was suffering with his worn out shoulder. Dr. Sketchler was so patient and kind with my father. He got an xray and cortizone injection and is feeling so much better. He has beem our ortjo surgeon for many years, shoulders, knee and hip replacement, injections. He is irreplaceable.
I had my left hip joint replaced.I chose Dr Sketchler because he's a good doctor. My hip is healing right now and I'm extremely happy. I saw Dr Sketchler yesterday for a follow-up. Great doctor!

Dr Sketchler was thorough with discussing the possibility of my pain’s origin. Did X-rays and was down to earth on his explanations.
Was quick on performing surgery on my femurs due to cancer eating away at the bone. Placed rods in both femurs. Recovery and follow-ups were great. Explained and showed X-rays and showed were there is significant bone growth on my femurs.
I had seriously hurt my hip and was in enormous pain. He agreed to see me immediately despite a fully scheduled day. After looking at the x-rays and confirming I hadn't broken my hip, he explained in detail what had happened. I was crying, scared, and in a lot of pain and he was calm, soft spoken and reassuring that from what he assessed after examine me that all would be okay with time, rest, and medication. He listened to my concerns and examined the specific area. Suggested and MRI and referred me to a pain management specialist.
Dr Sketchler has treated my knee and a subsequent knee replacement; my rotator cuff surgery; and my hip replacement. He also did both of my husband's shoulder replacements. All have been very successful.
