My two year old daughter had to have a small surgery. The front desk always returned my calls and answered any questions I had. We were always seen on time. Dr. Hoehner took time to answer all my questions. He put me at ease regarding what was best for my daughter, going over the pros and cons with me. At the hospital and in the office he kept me close to her to ease her anxiety. She usually cries when a doctor or nurse just looks at her. She let Dr. Hoehner examine her without tears. My child has terrible granulation tissue and Mike Peck told me not to use split gauze, that it would make it worse. NOT TRUE, as I found out from other tubie moms and from trying it for a week --so much better. What bad medical advice! Also, my baby's GI told me that Dr. Hoehner should have performed a Nissan operation while he was in there doing the tube as she had and still has horrible painful large vomits at almost every feed. If it was an option I would not give Dr. Hoehner any stars. I think he has some of the worst bedside manners I have ever seen and I have see a lot of doctors. Was not friendly at all. When my son needed a G-tube check up he looked at the site for literally one second, said it looked fine, and walked out. So rude and arrogant.

Didn’t listen to us, quick to draw a conclusion without looking at any test results, wouldn’t even look at any medical information that was sent over from the pediatrician until we insisted. Wouldn’t recommend. The only good thing was that I was able to get an appointment the day after calling, which probably should have been a sign.
