Found out screws weren’t put in anywhere close to where they should have gone-
I was amazed that my hip replacement surgery went so well. I hobbled in and three hours later I walked out. My hip replacement was transformative. Dr Stickney did a great jot setting expectations, replacing my hip and provided great follow up post surgery. I strongly recommend him.
A man with an ego that is so sensitive when you question care methods on top of asking next steps questions he becomes hostile and makes the space feel uncomfortable. His level of care and attentiveness was below the level of urgent care. No suggestions on pain management not even asking for painkillers just want crutches or some information to help until we had the MRI results. Had a complete left knee replacement
I couldn’t be more pleased at the result of my hip replacement surgery. The quality of Dr. Stickney’s that I’d most like to highlight is competence. He is a somewhat reserved person which presented some uncertainties for a Nervous Nellie like me, but he is appropriately responsive as needed, straight-forward and efficient — and above all else competent. I highly recommend him and will return if the need arises.
Hi, I met with Dr. Stickney in December 2020. He reviewed the x-rays and said these were the worst hips he had ever seen and could not believe I was skiing, horseback riding and golfing with no pain. He did the right hip January 2021 and recovery was so good he did the left hip in March 2021. I started golfing in May 2021, riding in June 2021 and back skiing with no pain. Saw him this week for yearly followup and all was good. I would highly recommend you talk to him about your surgery.
Professional and informative. Surgeons have a reputation for having no “bedside manner” but Dr Stickney is an exception to that notion
Dr. Stickney performed hip replacement surgery on both of my hips, great experiences. He is a very seasoned pro. I definitely recommend him to anyone in the Seattle area considering hip replacement.
