Dr. Jacobsen did an L5-S1 discetomy and I can walk and stand up straight now.
Dr Jacobsen is in a word fabulous. I had a very serious disc issue in my neck. He needed to remove and rebuild 3 discs (a neck fusion). When he saw my MRIs he explained the gravity of the situation and why I needed to address this urgently. I had previously seen another doctor who suggested I get a second opinion. When I had my first lumbar laminectomy and was evacuated from Ankara, Turkey to Washington, Dr. Jacobson performed my surgery and everything went well. Approximately five years later and while assigned to D.C., I saw Dr. Jacobson for my second bout of disc herniation. He was awful...bedside manner of a rabid dog.
