I have been a patient of Dr. Downie for many years. I keep going to her because she stays on the cutting edge of technology. If Dr. Downie is not participating in a lecture, she 's the one conducted them. I feel confident returning to a physician who is going to give me all the best options for my problem. The best staff anyway.

I've been to numerous dermatologists over the last 15 years and my skin hasn't been this clear since I was in high school! Her rates are affordable compared to other doctors I've been to & she's a pleasure to be around! Ive gained so much self confidence with the new complexion of my face-I don't even have to wear makeup when I go out with friends! God bless Dr. Downie!

She never solved my skin problems and I've been going there for a long time. She doesn't accept most insurances so I had to pay out of my pocket every time. I have blue cross/blue shield which MOST doctors accept. It's a main insurance company. I had to continue to buy her products from the office. She seems to care about the money as opposed to caring for your skin. I will never go back again. I feel robbed.

Downie was one of the best years ago, sadly this is no longer true. Downie will try to stretch out simple treatments, and sell over the counter washes she hawks opposed to writing a prescription for what is needed. She buys watered down peels, charges the price of quality peel, all so you will have to keep coming back. She will biopsy eczema as if looking for skin cancer- leaving marks in your face, then wants to chemically peel marks. Never go there if you care about your skin!!

Two words; Total ripoff! Removed about 5 skintags and charged me for close to 20. Price tag for the procedure was $517 but the office removed $570 from my bank account! Never going back!

Absolutely RUDE! Doesn't even address you by your name. Wasted 2 hrs sitting and waiting before my 15 min procedure could begin. Does not deserve a single penny, your spit is even too valuable to be spitted on her face! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

she has the audacity to charge her patients highway robbery type fees..but tells them that the pharmacy should literally give her patients her meds at cheap prices..i guess that means more for her keep

Just by speaking with her staff I feel like this is not the Dr for me! I called a moment ago and they couldn't answer a simple question! I wanted to know how much Botox was. They said they didn't know?????? I asked her if she checked out people and she said yes. So then I said, you must have noticed how much it costs. She said I would have to talk to the Dr. about that. Strange. Makes me think different people pay different prices. I just wanted an honest answer.

Not only do you have to wait a very long time but her staff is at best unprofessional and at worst, plain rude. I went to see her for a cosmetic procedure but while talking to her, I felt like she was more concerned with selling me more things that I wasn't looking for and don't need. She put a TON of botox in my head and I looked older bc of it. I realized later that she was charging me by the unit of botox and that was probably why.
