Dr Z was amazing and was so good at explaining the procedure and talking to family . He patiently and compassionately answered all question and followed up with incredible care .
The visits are not directly the problem. Although I feel as though Dr. Kamel's effort to understand his patients is low. My 72 year old mother has chronic pain, managed by pain medication. My mother's brother passed recently and she took a pill and a half for some of her doses during the 2 weeks we were back and forth to K c. dealing with that My mom told me she was gonna run out 2 days early and asked if she should call and ask for an early fill . Dr Turner is one awesome Dr. he’s kept me alive through cancer diagnosis and many other problems. He is very intelligent and will answer all your questions in detail. He has NEVER steered me wrong and sent me to the right professionals I needed for all my other health needs. I’ve been under his care for over 20 years. And his nurse Kelli Jo is among the best in the profession. I thank the lord I have such wonderful caring health care providers. I thank you Dr Turner and Kelli Jo.
I have been a patient of Dr. Pendergrass for many years. She is so kind. She never rushes appts.; taking the time to really understand and diagnose whatever the issue many be. Her nursing staff is fantastic. If your looking for a new GP I highly recommend her!!

Dr Scott is kind and compassionate, takes his time to answer questions, and truly cares. He knew there was a serious issue and quickly ordered tests and referred us on to the doctors that would be necessary.
I’ve seen my share of primary care doctors. Dr Turner is by far the best. He is caring, considerate and listens to your issues. His RN, KelliJo is awesome and very caring. Great teamwork.
As a patient of CoxHealth, and CoxSouth Springfield MO and The Martin Center in particular, I have been stunned by the astounding bloated layers of management and the myriad of antiquated processes that mire CoxHealth in inefficiency across the organization.
