I had my first time medical appointment with Dr.Jurkowitz 5/23/23 in his office in Encino my first impression of him was a welcome smile right away I felt comfortable looking at face and his demeanor made me feel at Ease, he listened and did a full exam I was asked several questions in order to understand and treat me, he is very professional. I’m very happy with the Medical Doctor.
They don't answer the phone or return calls. He dropped the ball on my Workers compensation case and it has been over two years and he still hasn't completed his services. VERY unprofessional. Should probably consider retirement.
I TOTALLY agree with the previous reviews. He should definitely retire. He didn't bother himself to read my personal medical history and he comes up with assumptions that he makes up in his mind (makes guesses). He demonstrates a very unprofessional attitude toward the patients. It is even hard to call him a Doctor after all.
The reason I went to Dr. Jay Jurkowitz was me having something happening in my L5-S1 juncture, with attendant numbness and pain going up and down both legs. Dr. never asked me about my well being (which indeed is his job). When I asked questions I was spoken down too disrespected and felt like a 5 year old child being scolded.
