dr taunk is all about the money performed a colonoscopy and an endoscopy on the same day only to tell me i had gastrtitis .... a very general term. he wasnt interested in talking after the procedure. on to the next patient . i later discovered that with dr taunk everyone gets both colonoscopy and endoscopy same time a guy who is raking in lots of money . very poor diagnostician and never treated my condition in any way . i would give 0 stars if it were possible .
Went to doc and they scheduled procedure. They scheduled 3 months out, then called to say they had earlier opening which I took. Did prep and went to hospital and they scheduled me at hospital that didn’t take my insurance. Scheduling lady is very rude and scarcastic. No apologies either
Have been several times to Dr. Taunt and left feeling confident that my problem was under control. Dr. Taunk is very respectful and his staff is great. He will be my forever Gastroenterologist.
Dr. Taunk has done multiple procedures for me. I've had colonoscopies twice, and also two esophagogastroduodenoscopies and an esophagus dilatation. I have trusted him with my medical care and feel he is excellent. We have many great physicians in the area that I could have chosen to be my gastroenterologist, but, Dr. Taunk was the one I chose because my nurse friend thought highly of him. He has proven to be such a wonderful physician whom I trust. I will continue to go back to him.
I have been to see Dr. Taunk 4 times and will NOT return. I was in so much abdominal pain, crying, and could not get comfortable. He snapped at me to sit down and stop. My husband was trying to ask him questions about concerns we had with my 2nd CT scan and he kept disregarding the results. Even when he saw that these issues were not on the 1st CT scan! And just said the 2nd CT scan was not done right! And all I needed was an antidepressant!!
I would not send my dog to him. I am now cured of Hep c going to Someone else who was compassionate. Dr Trauk was Rude and basically told me to go home And get on a liver transplant list
I saw Dr. Taunk for suspected gallbladder problems. He ordered a CT scan and by the time of the follow-up, I was experiencing new, more systemic symptoms. Perhaps because the CT scan was "unremarkable," he dismissed my new symptoms, argued with me about much weight I'd actually lost, and then tried to sell me one of his prize-winning colonoscopies. No speculation on what might be causing my problems. No discussion of diet or therapies worth trying.. Nothing. No thanks.
Dr. Taunk is awesome and so is his staff. He is very thorough and explains exactly what is going to happen. His staff is fantastic as well! I look forward to my next visit.
I understand running behind once in a while. This is my 4th visit since Sept and each time I wait OVER an hour. I take off work and use my sick leave - more than I need to. This isn't right. Now they want my credit card information on file in case I forget my card. No I don't think so. This is my last visit. Bye!
