I came by ambulance to Mercy Folsom hospital from what I now know was severe sepsis from C-Diff. He was going to discharge me home. My mom came to ER to help me advocate being admitted. Begrudgingly, he spoke to the admitting doctor, and I was admitted for sepsis. That night I went into septic shock and the overnight hospitalist doctor saved my life. Why are ER doctors so quick to dismiss and discharge critically ill patients? Something needs to change, it shouldn't be this hard.
I had been vomiting for 6 days with no food intake. I went to ER after three days. That time I was treated with dignity and care. After being released I returned home and continued to throw up for 3 more days. That’s when I got stuck with Dr. kaiga. I’m am a heart attack survivor and he never listened to my heart or lungs in fact he never even came near me. He gave me an IV at least but asked what did I expect them to do.
