Avoid at all cost. There is no patient care. I was a Dr. Stahlman patient but he retired. Having serious lower back problems and Smith was offered to me. Biggest mistake ever. He looked at my history and got scared so did not want to actually look into the problem. He walked in white as a ghost and terrified. Spent 3 mins with me. 1 awful quality X-ray was done. 6 weeks of PT and another 2 min visit where he wrote me off. There is not a caring bone in his body. I went to Dr Smith because I was suffering from Flat Back caused by Harrington Rod. Dr Smith tried to stabilize my lumbar spine. The surgery took 7.5 hours. It never worked. He used donor bone for the fusion which didn't fuse. I was left somewhat crippled, dependent on a cane. I eventually found another surgeon who did an osteotomy and removed all the hardware Dr Smith put in, and replaced it with segmented hardware. I would not recommend this doctor for spine surgery
Dr Jason Smith was attentive, seemed genuinely concerned about my pain. He listened well, answered my questions; and I didn't feel hurried. He didn't waste my time suggesting more therapy as the insurance usually requires, yet advised we'd do an MRI and go from there. After diagnosing the issue, he set out a treatment plan. I'm hoping this will achieve the desired results.
Dr Smith and his staff provide excellent care. Everything, all options, were thoroughly examined and explained to me.
Dr. Smith and the whole staff are wonderful. He did extensive neck surgery on me in May 2023, I am pain free, very successful surgery.Dr. Smith is the best.Melissa is an asset to complete his staff.Thank you all.
