I tore my ACL in December 2024. I had an initial consult with Dr. Smith in February 2025 and was told the earliest time I could get the repair done was March 2026. They put me on a waitlist for any cancellations and they were able to fit me in for December 2025. Highly recommended if you are patient. It is worth the wait. Dr. Smith’s team has been absolutely supportive and amazing during my post-op rehab process. Still a long way to go; however, I have been very impressed and pleased with my rehab program with Emma.
My mom was booked for an appointment at 9:30am with an arrival time at 9am. We found out the doctor had not arrived at 10am, an hour later. When I asked the receptionist if its common practice to schedule an appointment with a doctor when he isn't in, she asked me if how long I've been living in Canada (I'm born and raised here btw). So expect unusual wait times, ignorance and internalized racism from the registration staff and nurses. I know it's no surprise in this medical industrial complex but that doesn't make it okay.
Went alongside my husband for his follow up appointment for his meniscus tear MRI follow up. Definitely one of the top tier doctors in the GTA, super nice and answered all our questions and had a bit of friendly banter as well! Professional but also made sure to make you feel at ease. His admin Shireece (sorry not sure if I spelt it right) is amazing and super nice to talk to, overall really lovely experience - would highly recommend this office if you’re looking for an ortho consult
I received medical treatment from Doctor Smith and Emma, his physiotherapist, for tear in my ulnar collateral ligament. What stands out to me is their exceptional hospitality and professionalism. They are the most trustworthy team, and the nicest people. In July of 2024, Dr. Smith and his team surgically reconstructed my UCL and now I have began playing baseball again.
