I went to see Dr K. Hewitt. Even tho they were behind, he rushed office visit, asking stupid questions. I felt like saying, would you slow down and just listen to what I say. Put me on 3 different antibodics because I honestly know he wasn't listening and apparently didn't know what to do. Guess what still having issues and I called and their advice, well just come back in. When I see a doctor, I want help, not visit after visit.
I was a patient of Dr. Jay Davis and switched to Dr. Hewitt early in my first pregnancy. I made the switch because I felt like she was unprofessional and unhelpful in answering my questions as a first time mother. Not to mention rude and uncaring. Since I have been a patient of Dr. Hewitt's I have recommended him to several friends and acquaintances who were expecting. He is caring and understanding, helpful and informative. My Doctor is Dr. Davis and I like him, he has always been very good with me during my annual visits. However, when we were expecting our first child, it went downhill quickly. I have been forgotten in the waiting room, called a liar by billing (which I proved wrong), and treated very rudely by office staff. I like Dr. Davis, but the staff is horrible.
As a man, it seems very odd I would be writing a review about a OBGYN office, but as a father I feel it is my responsibility to inform the public of the extreme unprofessional attitude of Dr. Lyons and her staff. My wife was diagnosed as a high risk pregnancy with our first child and is now pregnant with our second child and must see a specialist. I heard about this office through a friend. Upon calling today, I was met with the rudest young lady. While I'm sure the doctors are as wonderful as I have been told. I couldn't get past the abrasive tone or ignorant manner in which this individual answered the phone. I immediately called another practice and received a much more welcoming individual.
The best decision I ever made! Very Professioinal and have outstanding "bedside Manners." I have been going to this practice for 16 years and they are outstanding. They are well established in the community and well equiped with the latest medical innovations. This practice delivered both my sons and I would not have had it any other way. My personal doctor is "Dr. Keith Hewitt" and I could not say enough great things about this man. He is an amazing person!!! The practice of and in itself is well above the rest in the area!
