I have been seeing Dr. Scott for a few years now and I am very grateful that he is one of my doctors that treats me. I have many issues that lead to chronic and often times debilitating pain. Dr. Scott and his PA Ronda have been absolutely amazing in helping me find treatments that help relieve some of the pain or make it to where I can at least manage it. They both work with me to explore treatment options and are always willing to try new ones. They have gone to bat for me with my insur also
He is the BEST! He is very caring, personal, professional, prompt, attentive, I could go on and on. If you need help with pain management go to him!!
My wife had very good experience with Dr. Scott at his PREVIOUS association. I tried to see him at Kansas Spine & Specialty for 3 MONTHS and never got an appointment. The FIRST and ONLY time anyone answered the phone immediately was registering as a NEW Patient. Thereafter, I ALWAYS had to "leave a message" - and calls were NEVER returned until MANY DAYS later. They finally said I could schedule appointmt" 4 WEEKS away. They were OVERBOOKED, STAFF would never ADMIT that.
I have been seeing Dr Scott now for a few years and we’ve had some hard times and mostly positive good times with my banged up body from a 20 year old MVA that broke my neck he explains everything to me and also shows me what he’s going to do, it just takes a little communication between dr and patient. This man is so versed on the nervous system in your body I believe he could work blindfolded! Once again today Dr Scott has made a difference in how I can walk and it’s Good!
My experience with Dr Scott is from Advanced pain medicine (management) where the only time I ever met with a doctor was when he did injections that didn't help and by the way the 6 I had done never once did I have a driver <- let that sink in. Also I was given medication I am allergic to when I discovered that and mentioned I was having problems the dosage was tripled I eventually figured out that was the problem and discontinued it myself when I told them they had no response.
I would recommend him to anyone needing help with their pain. I just saw him once but was very impressed. These doctors in Wichita have renewed my faith in doctors. I’ve seen Dr. Weimar who is excellent and now Dr. Scott. They are caring people and will do their best to help you. I am going for the pain pump and I’m sure it will work for me. Thank you doctors in Wichita for caring.
Dr. Scott is a good physician; however, he fails to understand that patient care is not limited to him. His staff members are unprofessional, complaining very vocally in the presence of patients, causing anxiety in patients undergoing critical procedures. Their behavior is a direct reflection on him. Dr. Scott, please do not cause your patients undue anxiety. You are in the business of alleviating pain, so please encourage your staff to do the same, in whatever way they can.
If my review was only on Dr. Scott I would have given give stars because he is amazing. He listens to you and he walks you through procedures. His bed side manners are wonderful. The problem is you only see his for procedures and the rest of the time you see his assistant. The staff don't return messages and either don't pass information onto his assistant Rhonda or Rhonda passed that blame onto them.
I believe Dr. Scott saved my life. After two cervical spinal fusions in 1 1/2 years, I was left with unrelenting and devastating 8/10 occipital headaches 24/7. I contemplated ending my life. I was referred to Dr Scott and asked him for a miracle. He delivered one. After a radio frequency ablation of my C-2 occiptal nerve I am pain free. His bedside manner is impeccable, approachable and kind.He has a gentle and steady hand. I barely felt the needles during the procedure. Thank you Dr Scott.
