Does anyone know of the doctor that she has referred all of her patients to since she retired???
Dr. Adams is extremely intelligent and discerning. I recommend her practice highly. We moved from another practice to this one, at first because of the location, which is very convenient for us. But I found in my first visit that Dr. Adams diagnosed correctly a chronic issue in my five year old, which had been missed by the doctors in the other practice. She did so by a careful clinical examination. Her diagnosis was confirmed later by a lab test. I was very impressed.
Staff in Silver Spring is not friendly or accommodating. She told me I have to reschedule because we went to the wrong location even if there was still time to go to the other one! They don't even call to remind scheduled appointments to new clients! Their phone numbers are confusing! In the Carefirst website that number had the address in Silver Spring but I was told that the one I called was College Park location!
Dr Adams has been the physician for my twins since birth. They will be 18 in November and I absolutely love her and the caring and supporting staff. They truly make you feel like you're a part of their family. I'm sad my kids will be moving on after they turn 18, but I will always have a special place in my heart for Dr. Adams and the amazing staff at Woodside Pediatrics
Dr. Adams is an adequate doctor, though I would not recommend her to family or friends. She's quick to prescribe antibiotics without test results to ensure they're necessary. Her tone can be condescending. Her staff repeatedly measured my child incorrectly. She refers you to the ER for the slightest injury. And she often runs out of the flu vaccine. Overall, not a very good doctor or practice. Look elsewhere!

They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. It seemed like they went out of their way to encourage me, and were very supportive of all my values and beliefs about parenting issues. I know I can always count on them.
