I have dealt with hip pain for all of my 52 years and had many surgeries. I was so lucky to find DrHommen, who specializes in FAI which i was finally diagnosed with in 2022. I finally found surgeon who has corrected multiple issues with both hips, helping me attain a better quality of life. He and his staff are always professional and office runs efficiently. Wait times vary but no different than other physician offices. As a patient and an RN I highly recommend Dr Hommen.

Horrible experience had full knee replacement 2.5 years ago knee still swollen in pain constantly, I’ve return numerous times complaining to be told “I understand your not happy but everything looks fine” I be been told by different Doctors that my left side was left shorter than my right as a matter of fact social security gave me disability based on this surgery mishap. Dr. Hommen met with me to discuss a labrum tear, an impingement, and a cyst. I uploaded test images (MRI, x-ray, EMG) and reports ahead of the appointment. During the conversation, he stated that he will add tests that, I know from other surgeons, would be unnecessary and risky. His team members met with me prior to leaving and asked me to sign a surgery authorization form without giving me time to review the doctor's input. He seems to be a good Dr. unfortunately the way they run the office is very poor. He is consistently late. On my first visit I had to wait 1.45 Minutes and the explanation from his office manager was that he always allows 30 Minutes for people to be late so if you are on time, you loose. The office staff (Claudia) highly uncooperative and dismissive. At the end, I went to another Dr for my operation cause I was not able get proper information to schedule the procedure with Dr Hommen. Dr. Hommen is the most intelligent and compassionate doctor I have ever met. He took the time to actually listen to my son and found the cure to his hip pain. His staff is also extremely friendly and professional. They were able to clear the insurance and expedite my son’s MRI for the same day. Going to visit such a caring and diligent Doctor was extremely refreshing and what my son truly needed. Forever grateful to Dr. Hommen and his staff.

Dr. Hommen saw me after my ski accident and I had torn my MCL, ACL and LCL ligaments. He was amazing and not only extremely smart but also took the time to explain the entire plan of care to me so that I felt comfortable. He and his staff were most efficient and helpful with all of the surgical logistics. The surgery was perfect and I cannot even see my scars now. After my surgery Dr. Hommen was always encouraging which was also very much needed and appreciated. I most highly recommend Dr. Hommen.

Dr. Hommen saved my leg after a complex break in my ankle. After 12 screws and 2 plates, I thank God everyday for putting him in my life at the time that I needed his expertise the most. He is Totally Awesome, and even though I hope you never need to have surgery, well, if you do...this is the Doctor to seek out! Thank you Dr. Hommen, Laly Albalate
