She was on call when I needed a medication that is vital for me to function. It happened to be on Christmas Eve and when she called me, she started off by saying “do you realize it’s the holidays? I just had to leave church to call you”. She made me feel terrible and then proceeded to hang up on me after I told her what I needed. I have had issues with Bartholin cysts. She came to me with a new procedure and was very open that it was new. After she explained everything we opted to try it. As someone who has had Bartholin cysts before and did not want surgery, this option was amazing! She exceeded my expectations and fixed my problem I have dealt with for years without surgery! Worst experience of my life! Dr. Rempe was on call the day I had my 3rd and last child. She was in a rush (demanding I push even when I wasn't having a contraction), rude and uncaring. She had no compassion and seemed annoyed when I told her I could feel her stitching me up. She made me feel like an inconvenience. She pushed on my stomach so hard and rushed to get my placenta out instead of letting me have a normal contraction. I ended up with a uterus infection and another 48 hours in the hospital. I had her for the birth of my first child & it was never a pleasant experience. She was always in a hurry & wore that on her sleeve. I didn't understand a lot of what was happening & left her office often thinking I would just google my questions instead because she didn't make any sense. I was assigned to her after my original OB left the practise for another health care pursuit, Had it not been my first child, & I realized just how poor her level of care was, I would have left right away.
I was transferred to Dr. Rempe' scare after my Dr. unexpectedly to medical leave. She explained every step of every procedure, gave me literature to look through when asked and let me make my own decisions in my own time about the birthing process, also explaining the pros and cons of every choice and what she's had to look for to make sure both I and baby were safe. I couldn't be more thankful for her getting to know who I am so she made my birthing experience the best possible. So thankful.
