My husband has gone to dr garfield for 30 yrs now. Im so sick an tired if people downing these docters for giving pain pills to people who need it! Would u snow flakes rather just have these people who are in horrific pain just kill them selves?? Cause it is happening i knew a few people who have committed suicide cause their REAL PAIN was just to much! I have had 10 different family Doctors in my life. He is the best. He truly cares about his patients. He is not afraid to say if he does not know something but he will find out and follow up promptly. People that say he gives out too many pills are wrong. He gives you what you need. and no more. T.B.
He needs to be reported to the AMA, along with the pharmacists who fill his patients opioid prescriptions.
He is a well known pill pusher. Several of my family members got hooked on unnecessary meds for minor medical problems. He has had disciplinary actions against him which can be reviewed on the LARA website. I'm surprised there aren't more.
My family has been seeing Dr. Garfield for over 17 years. I would recommend him and have done so in the past. He is very knowledgable and has a great "bedside manner" and sense of humor. He makes you feel comfortable talking about anything. I would not want anyone else as my primary care physician.
Poor diagnostician.....got me addicted to pain meds too and failed to know how to get me off of them. This ruined my career. If you are a junkie...you will love him. Stay away if you are not
Dr Garfield has been my primary care doctor for over 10 years now, and he has always done a great job with helping me with my illnesses. I would recomend him to family and friends.
My family and I have been with his office for many years. I have only had great care from him and his office staff have been kind and helpful. Late after hours calls have been returned quickly and I have never been pushed medication.
I can say that Dr. Garfield is well known to all Genesee County area junkies. He will prescribe you with any pain meds you want with little or no questions. Then when you try to get off the meds, he will offer very little help getting you clean and sober. I can't believe he still has a license to practice, but most Doctors will not help you once they have turned you into a junkie. All they want is your money.
