The likelihood of recommending Dr Kunec or his practice is zero, and the only way to describe my experience is poor! The front office staff was very friendly. I scheduled my appt on Monday and provided my insurance. When I came in on Friday I was informed my visit was not covered and it would be $100. I went to see Dr. Kunec for a bunion. He supposedly perfomed a simple bunionectomy, but after recovery, my condition remained unchanged. When I expressed my concern, he suggested a toe brace. I obtained a second opinion from a well respected podiatrist who believes an osteotomy, which includes a realignment of the toe, would have been more appropriate. I was not informed by Dr. Kunec about that procedure. Dr. Kunec is a very nice man, but should probably not try to treat bunions.
