I recently saw him as a second opinion against Sedgwick. He actually put in his letter to insurance that as far as he read on paper he didn’t believe I needed the spinal fusion. Shocking. So I guess I need to look into the spinal surgeon that cut me open. He has poor bedside manner and allegedly is practicing. He’s only getting paid by insurance to say what they want. He talked to me for an hour and then cherry picked 48 years of health records 3 workdays.
Glad that you missed this one! This provider was the most incompetent and non compassionate spine surgeon that I have ever known. 6 hour surgery with guidance that I would be able to play golf and resume my normal activities within 6 weeks. Well 2 years later and I am no better after the surgery and am now reliant upon pain management to be able to work and to just do normal activities of daily living.
Great surgeon with amazing bedside manner, really cares about his patients and their outcomes. A true physician and great person. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Good surgeon but absolutely horrible communication skills. Rude, no empathy, doesn't listen, or respond to questions. Doesn't seem to want to interact with you following surgery.
Allison at Dr. Leipzig's office is AMAZING. She listened to my plea for help - my husband had been in spinal pain for months and she got him in immediately (as in the very next day) for a consult w/Patrick which turned into surgery two weeks later. Dr. Leipzig is a great physician and is very knowledgeable in his spinal care. He understood what I was explaining to him and recommended more recent imaging to make his evaluation of my health issues. I appreciate his care.
His Practice is an A++++ from the receptionist to himself. His staff is competent, friendly, caring and efficient. When I call with questions, they find the answers for me. The last time I needed an appointment, I called on a Thursday afternoon and was seen on Monday! He spent 45 minutes with me and explained everything in detail while showing me on my MRI what was going on. Among the best doctors that I have ever known.
