I have been seeing Dr Landero for about 3 years, I have no complaints about his office staff or any other issues. My experience has always been positive. I have a skin condition he treats me for and checks my skin for any type of suspicious pre cancerous spots, which he has removed a few and did biopsies, I always get calls back letting me know how the biopsy turned out, which I believe I have had two places that were pre cancerous, so he removed those. I went in for a full body exam, and he barely looked at one quarter of my skin. I'm used to my dermatologist exams being very thorough with every inch of my skin being examined In addition, he let me know he would burn or freeze off a couple of spots, but instead of letting me know that he was going to do it right then in that moment, without warning he just went ahead and did so with total surprise and shock to myself. Made me pay for deductible I had already paid for with promise it would be refunded. Requested refund many times and so did insurance. Haven’t seen it yet!

I should have took the current reviews into consideration when using Dr. Landero and Premier Dermatology but here we are. If you have any dermatological needs at all avoid this place like the plague. The initial visit was simple enough. Took a biopsy from a concerned spot on my back. Dr. Landero was laying the groundworks to start selling me some supplements he gets a kick back on but I can say no, no big deal. Long wait, not even a hello when entering, no explanation of treatment he is doing. Unprofessional. Didn’t feel comfortable about sterilization of instruments used. Would not recommend.
I didn't expect to spend almost $200 at my daughter's first visit. I understand buying face washes and moisturizers from the office was part of it, but I don't think the face cream should have been as expensive. My daughter has insurance and I just didn't expect to spend that much. On my visit the receptionist charged me a copay when I knew my out of pocket was met.
