I was told that Dr Cookson was old school conservative and he for sure is. I wouldn’t have asked for anything else. He’s and his crew are not going to flower things for you, just shoot you straight. I don’t need to hear a bunch of bedside bull and you won’t get that here. I had a full knee replacement and I couldn’t have been happier. I have had friends that have gone to these high tech meat markets and they seems to have issues and left to rehab on their own. Doc is get it done right.
Dr Cookson perform a surgery, was given pain medication on surgery day. A month later when asked if could renew medication because still having pain and doing physical therapy, the doctor replied "Dont you read the newspaper about the opioid addiction " didnt care about pain and just wrote it off.. I can understand the doctors fear of DEA but really, don't do surgery if you can't understand the pain afterwards. Was treated like I was a drug addict. Poor bedside manners
Staff ~ poor customer service skills. Dr. Cookson didn't spend appropriate time with patient. He didn't listen or answer patient questions. Also, he will not explain medical condition. Untrustworthy and has no clear plan of treatment.
