HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE Experience. I am now consulting with the new surgeon after having three bunion surgeries with Dr Ficke. My first one was over 10 years ago, I had to have two surgeries on the same foot because he did not correct the surgery after the first time. Very disappointed with Dr Ficke. I traveled cross country for an appointment due to the excellent reviews he has received. The appointment went very well. At the conclusion of the appointment, he said he would give me a recommendation on next steps once he received my MRI from my local imaging group. I sent the MRI immediately after my appointment and contacted his assistant to confirm its receipt. She indicated that it was available to the Dr and that he would review it and call me. Dr. Ficke is AMAZING. God bless you Dr. Ficke! The ankle replacement he performed has given me a new lease on life. To be able to make dinner for my family and take my dog for a walk has been such a gift!
