Dr. Ransdell and his staff are the best of the best. You know you have found a great dentist when you fall asleep during the procedure! Dr. Ransdell is a very caring person, and he explains everything very clearly beforehand. I no longer dread dental work because Dr. Ransdell takes great care to deliver pain-free procedures. Dr. Ransdell and his staff are so wonderful. I have been going to him for 10 years. I always hated to go to the dentist, but Dr. Ransdell and his staff make it easier and actually enjoyable. It's like going to a friend's house, but getting your teeth worked on! He is very reasonably priced, and explains things in a way you can understand. Dr. Ransdell wants the best for all his patients. I highly recommend him as your dentist.

Going to the dentist when I was a kid was something you did when you were in pain or needed dentures. I was in college before I had braces and desperately needed them before that time. The orthodontist I went too was scarey....(this was in the 80's) I would come out of his office drenched in sweat and on the verge of tears it hurt so bad. So of course I avoided the dentist unless it was an emergency...just so happened as do most emergencies I had a horrible pain in my face on a holiday weekend....I was able to talk with someone and got an appointment asap with Dr. Ransdells office.....they discovered I had roots of my teeth in my sinus....I immediately felt a comfort from them that I had never felt....my husband and I met with them and Randy came up with an excellent plan to get a lifetime full of dental issues taken care of....he also worked with me on my huge fear of having someone do work in my mouth....YES,,,it cost us....but I have never had an emergency dental situation since because I see them regularly , my medical doctor says I've increased years on my life by having the dental work done and regularly caring for my teeth and gums and Randy prepares me for what we may have to do next. I never feel ashamed to open my mouth in the office and I never feel like I'm alone in my dental care....YES I still say I don't want to go to the dentist when I have an appointment because wouldn't it be nice if you never had to go to a dentist or doctor.....but that is not realistic.....GO Go see Randy and you will love Monnie (Happy Hygienist) don't think your teeth or too bad or you will do it another day or you can't afford it.....afford it now work with them on a plan before you have no choice.....

Terrific service is what I've come to expect from Dr. Ransdell's office. The practice is very customer oriented. You will be treated professionally by an experienced, skilled dentist. No billing problems, appointments promptly held and terrific dental care.

I didn't used to like going to the dentist because of fear of dentists, etc... but since I have been going to Dr. Ransdell's Office in Taylorsville, Ky, I couldn't be more comfortable about going.. They are very compasionate and caring people there and Dr. Ransdell and his staff all strive to make you very comfortable about your visit... so therefore, I do not hesitate to go to the dentist anymore... Best dentist and office staff I've ever visited. Dr. Ransdell has been my dentist for several years, and I am so appreciative of his great personality, helpful attitude, techniques and understanding. He's always looking for a better way to help his patients - great dentist. His staff is very friendly and helpful as well. I wouldn't see another dentist - so glad he expanded his practice to Taylorsville.

Dr Ransdell is a great dentist . However his office person did not properly inform me of my insurance coverage and lead me to belive they were an in network provider. They were not and I had to pay more an out of network cost. Not good conduct of bussness.
