I’m a frequent-“flyer” with the Mt Vernon Center for Dentistry with three crowns on the past six years. The first crown was just one month after retiring from the military. Although Dr Kim warned me about the initial pain shot, I was really surprised at how painless it was. His secret? He’d practiced on himself - argh! Well that’s one way to keep the patients happy. Eileen is always great and I appreciate Dr. Geren explaining everything and offering me options. As the mother of the woman who started Operation Smile missions all over Africa, I appreciate your participation in Smiles for Life, a completely different group but one which does similarly good work for those in need.
Dr. Geren is always gentle and kind and I trust his expertise. We have been patients for over 20 years and have always had great care. Unfortunately, he doesn't accept our dental insurance (Cigna PPO Advantage). So my husband and I had to make the difficult decision to move to a dentist that did accept our insurance. I understand the new woman dentist in your office is accepting Cigna. If you could please confirm that for me, I would appreciate it. Thank you so much, Judy and Tom White (703-768-2087
The experience was fine.
I find the dentistry service excellent. Just had my permanent crown put in and everything went like clockwork out in 30 minutes.
I went in for a cleaning and due to some gum issues the cleaning could not be done. I was given advice on what should be done and the out of pocket price to do so in which I declined. Instead of asking me if I wanted to schedule another appointment for a Perio exam they just performed this without my consent and then made me pay over $200 out of pocket for it.
